Children’s books are fun and important. We learn and we discover many different things. They teach us and help us to move forward.
There is a Japanese woman (Ms. Teruko Uemura also known as Ms. Apollo) who tries to publish her children’s book. The book gives children and adults hope for the future. The story is so gentle that we can feel the warmth of the author who thinks of readers to read it comfortably. It’s written in Japanese and in English (She writes and draws).
In her book, she sends us a message ‘the future changes the past’.
We all have memories that are good and the memories that are less good. The main character ‘Johnny’ is the same but he faces reality and he goes to visit his son from whom he separated a long time ago. The story progresses when Johnny visits his son.
She collects the money for publishing through Crowdfunding. I went on her site, and I read her message. It was strong.
Then, I decided to share her Crowdfunding site with the hope that we can help her to publish her book. Paying money to help is one thing but also we can help her by sharing her site.
My mother read me many books when I was a child. The stories and the pictures inspired me a lot. Now I pass my books to our children.
I’m sure that Ms. Apollo’s book will also become a special one to children.

Les livres pour enfants sont amusants et importants. Nous apprenons et nous découvrons beaucoup de choses différentes. Ils nous apprennent et nous aident à aller de l’avant.
Il y a une femme japonaise (Mme Teruko Uemura, aussi connue sous le nom de Mme Apollo) qui essaie de publier son livre pour enfants. Le livre donne aux enfants et aux adultes l’espoir pour l’avenir. L’histoire est douce que l’on puisse sentir la chaleur de l’auteur qui pense aux lecteurs pour la lire confortablement. Il est écrit en japonais et en anglais (elle écrit et dessine).
Dans son livre, elle nous envoie un message ‘l’avenir change le passé’.
Nous avons tous de bons souvenirs et des souvenirs moins bons. Le personnage principal ‘Johnny’ est le même, mais il fait face à la réalité et il va rendre visite à son fils dont il s’est séparé il y a longtemps. L’histoire progresse lorsque Johnny rend visite à son fils.
Elle recueille l’argent pour la publication par le Crowdfunding. Je suis allée sur son site, et j’ai lu son message. C’était fort.
Ensuite, j’ai décidé de partager son site de Crowdfunding avec l’espoir que nous puissions l’aider à publier son livre.
Payer pour aider est une chose, mais nous pouvons aussi l’aider en partageant son site.
Ma mère m’a lu de nombreux livres lorsque j’étais enfant. Les histoires et les photos m’ont beaucoup inspiré. Maintenant, je passe mes livres à nos enfants.
Je suis sûr que le livre de Mme Apollo deviendra aussi spécial pour les enfants.

絵本作家のアポロさんこと、上村照子さんの絵本も大人と子供に未来へ進む希望を与えてくれます。優しいストーリーで、読み手への配慮がされており、安心して読んでいただける本です。英語と日本語で読むことができ、ストーリーも絵もアポロさんのオリジナルです。
本のメッセージは「〜未来は過去を変えていく〜」。
私たちには誰しも、良い思い出と、そうでない思い出があります。主人公の「ジョニー」も同じ。でも彼は現実と向き合い、遠い昔に離れてしまった息子に会いにいきます。ストーリーはそこから展開していきます。
アポロさんは現在、クラウドファンディングで出版費用を募ってらっしゃいます。私も彼女のクラファンのサイトに行き、その思いを読み、ビデオを拝見しました。とても強い思い。
そして、彼女のクラファンのサイトを皆さんとも共有しようと思いました。
寄付は、もちろんクラファン達成に直接繋がります。ですが、こうして拡散をし、共有することも大きな助けとなる。少しずつサポートの輪が広がって行きますように。そう思い、ブログでシェアをさせて頂きました。
私も小さい頃、母にたくさんの絵本を読んでもらいました。その中の世界はインスピレーションとして、今でも私の中にあります。その本を今は息子たちへと。
アポロさんの絵本もそんな一冊になる本です。
